EWS और ordinary income certificate में फर्क

Income certificate केवल घोषित/verified आय record करता है। EWS Income and Asset Certificate यह भी certify करता है कि applicant relevant reserved categories में covered नहीं है और family निर्धारित asset limits से बाहर नहीं जाती। इसलिए केवल income certificate EWS reservation claim के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं होता; notice में मांगा prescribed Income & Asset Certificate चाहिए।

Central EWS eligibility snapshot

Applicant SC, ST या OBC reservation category में covered नहीं है।
Family की gross annual income ₹8 lakh से कम है।
Family के पास 5 acres या अधिक agricultural land नहीं है।
1,000 sq ft या अधिक residential flat नहीं है।
Notified municipality में 100 sq yards या अधिक residential plot नहीं है।
Notified municipality के बाहर 200 sq yards या अधिक residential plot नहीं है।

Central DoPT instructions के अनुसार अलग-अलग स्थानों की property को club किया जाता है। किसी एक asset test में limit cross होने पर income कम होने के बावजूद eligibility प्रभावित हो सकती है।

“Family” किसे माना जाता है?

Central framework में applicant के साथ parents, 18 वर्ष से कम siblings, spouse और 18 वर्ष से कम children शामिल होते हैं। Family income और property declaration बनाते समय केवल applicant की salary नहीं, relevant family unit की जानकारी देखें। Married/major-child situations में recruitment notice और prescribed form की wording ध्यान से पढ़ें।

Assessment year, financial year और certificate issue date को mix न करें। जिस notice में जिस period की income मांगी हो उसी period के records लगाएं।

Eligibility self-check

क्या notice current-year prescribed format मांगता है?	पुराना या generic certificate reject हो सकता है।

Documents तैयार करें

Universal “100 KB/JPEG-only” rule assume न करें। हर upload field पर portal जो current format और size दिखाए वही final है।

Online application sequence

Official citizen portal पर register/login करें और available services में EWS/Income & Asset Certificate खोजें।
Service instructions, competent authority, current fee और document list पढ़ें।
Family members, सभी income sources और सभी land/flat/plot details सच्चाई से भरें।
Readable files field-specific format/size में upload करें।
Preview में spelling, financial year, area units और property location check करें।
Portal पर displayed amount pay करें; receipt और application number save करें।
Status guide से track करें और issued certificate details verify करें।

Common rejection reasons

Family income में salary के अलावा business/agriculture/pension छोड़ देना।
Property area को sq ft और sq yards में गलत convert करना।
दूसरे district/state की family property declare न करना।
Wrong financial year का income proof लगाना।
Name/address mismatch या unreadable land record।
Recruitment notice के prescribed format/authority से अलग certificate देना।

Rejection remark पढ़े बिना duplicate application न करें। गलत declaration future verification में गंभीर समस्या पैदा कर सकती है; uncertainty हो तो tehsil/issuing authority से लिखित clarification लें।

Official basis और verification note

₹8 lakh income तथा 5-acre, 1,000-sq-ft, 100/200-sq-yard asset thresholds Government of India DoPT के EWS instructions से आते हैं। UP online application flow में portal की current service screen और राज्य का prescribed certificate format follow करें। Fee, file limits और processing period को fixed मानने के बजाय submission day पर official portal/receipt से verify करें।

अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न

EWS किसके लिए है?

यह उन applicants के लिए है जो SC, ST या OBC reservation में covered नहीं हैं और applicable income तथा asset criteria पूरा करते हैं।

क्या ₹8 लाख से कम income काफी है?

नहीं। Central criteria में agricultural land, residential flat और plot limits भी लागू हैं।

Certificate कब बनवाएं?

जिस recruitment/admission में देना है उसका notice पहले पढ़ें; issuing period और acceptable financial year उसी notice के अनुसार रखें।

Income में क्या शामिल होता है?

Central instructions family की सभी sources की gross annual income—salary, agriculture, business, profession आदि—देखती हैं।
