Track step by step
- Open Application Status on the official portal.
- Enter the receipt/SMS number exactly.
- Read the date, department, pending officer and remarks.
- Save the result privately; do not post personal data publicly.
- If no result appears, recheck the number and obtain a readable CSC receipt.

Verify an issued certificate
- Open Certificate Verification from the official homepage.
- Enter identifiers as labelled.
- Compare name, issuing authority, date and details.
- Confirm that any QR code opens a government domain.
- Take mismatches to the issuing tehsil/registrar.
No record alone does not prove fraud; a wrong field, migrated record or outage can cause it.
The national Civil Registration System lists Uttar Pradesh among supported states for birth/death records.
Download and store safely
- Use the final signed document from Issued/Completed Applications.
- Prefer the portal download control to browser print.
- Do not edit the original PDF; keep protected cloud and offline backups.
- Check the receiving institution's issue-date and format rules.
- Rely on DigiLocker only when the record appears from the official issuer.
Pending payment, delay and escalation
Save the bank reference, receipt, amount and screenshot. Do not immediately pay again; follow the portal's reconciliation/refund instruction. For delay, state the service, number, submission date, current status and concise problem, save the grievance reference, and attach a deadline notice if relevant. Verify the statutory time limit and appellate authority for the specific service instead of assuming one universal period.
